Not sure what to say?

Aunty Helen was a great lady! Her, Brooke, Theresa and I shared some wonderful times and many laughs in Calgary.

Helen,
I feel blessed that you shared such an important time of your life with me.

Arlene, Dex and Andy, know that my thoughts are with you as you move on to another phase in your lives, one that retains your mother's smiles and hugs in your hearts and minds. Those are what I think of when I think of my Aunt Helen: smiles that light up a room, just like my dad's, and her warm, long hugs. My prayers are with you all! We would welcome a visit with you in Calgary, if any of you have the opportunity to come this way, just like the 'old days' of the Eagan visits to the farm. ...

A very special aunt, a surrogate mother to me, a friend, mentor and confidant. We had many adventures together - running through hail storms, skipping down Scarboro Avenue arms linked singing "We're off to see the Wizard" (of course you were Dorothy and Aunt Mercia and I were the cowardly lion and the tin man), sipping gin and tonic, trying to make my mom "comfortable", laughing until we cried. You were a very reliable and witty e-mail correspondent! I have many fond memories that will...

Aunty Helen,
I could never have asked for a better aunt or godmother. I have so many great memories of your visits to Canada and mine to California. I'll miss you. My deepest condolences to my cousins on such a great loss.

Aunty Helen - I will miss you. I looked to you as a great, vibrant, interesting and caring family role model, (someone in the family that also understood accounting!). It was such a nice treat when you were able to visit in either Calgary or Taber. I'm miss our 'good gabs' that ranged from family catch-ups, politics, fashion, exercise and life in general. Even though I didn't get to see you often, you always had a way of making me feel 'connected' to you and your family.

To Dex,...

Aunt Helen,
I will always remember how gentle and kind you were, the laughing and stories that would fill our home and hearts on your visits. There is nothing more sad, or glorious then the passing of generations. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Mom-
You were always truly an inspiration to us all. You had shown great courage through the last difficult months. We look forward to being reunited with you and the Lord for all eternity.
With much love
Your son
Jim

Mom, forever in my heart. Love, Your daughter, Arlene
