Not sure what to say?

Helen was a wonderful friend to me while I was employed by Lansing Central School as the elementary librarian. It was my first position and she took me under her wing. It was during that time, early 70s, when she installed her first swimming pool, directly under some shady trees. Will miss a great lady

Heaven received an Angel. Aunt Helen is one of the sweetest people I have ever known. I loved to hear about her travels and adventures. Such an active individual, she amazed me at playing golf when she was in her nineties. I know she is missed by many, family and friends. Farewell sweet lady, we will all miss that smile.

There has always been a special place in my heart for your Mom. She was a remarkable woman who I really admired. She was not only a young single Mother, but she jumped back into the work force at a very difficult time, and made more of it than anyone at that time could imagine. And she was also my 4th grade teacher: Mrs. Howland for that year. I have always thought very highly of her. She was gentle, firm, and loving. She was also the Mom of my best friend growing up. I miss you...

Condolences to all you Howland girls we grew up with, and your families. So sorry to hear of your Mom's passing. She was a very special lady, who touched many lives. God Bless you all, keeping you in my prayers.

I hold fond memories of the time I spent at your mothers home when I was a young girl. She was always such a gracious host and a wonderful mentor to me. My prayers are with you and your families.
