Not sure what to say?

So sorry to hear of Helen's passing. My mom (Adele Helmgren) worked with Helen at Vista and I believe got together now and then. I know my mom would like to send her condolences to the family.

I am so so sorry to hear about Helen. As others have noted, she will be greatly missed. I will never forget the warm welcome she gave my children at Wagner Ranch when we returned from several years living overseas in New Zealand. She made them feel like they had always been a part of the school. She was wise and fair and engaged. Parents and children alike would find comfort in her advise and presence. I too think about her every time I drive pass Wagner.

I am so sorry to hear that Helen passed away. I think of her support for my son James when he was at Wagner Ranch, how she was so kind and wise at a hard time for my family, and how she so clearly loved her job, loved the children and cared deeply for those around her. I miss her every time I drive past Wagner.

So sad to learn of Helen's passing.. She was a kind, fair and insightful principal at Wagner Ranch. The children loved her. She amazed me by knowing all of their names. She was a wonderful person. I will miss her.

I am so sorry for your loss. Helen was such a beautiful and lovely spirit. My daughter's class was the first kindergarten class at Wagner Ranch when it reopened with Helen Laird at the helm! She was an amazing leader, guide and friend at the school. I know she will be missed but I also know she leaves wonderful and loving memories for her family and friends.

Helen was a wonderful principal at Wagner Ranch. A fabulous gift to all of our children.

Helen touched so many lives at Cornell, Vista MacGregor, Wagner Ranch and everywhere she went. She lives on in the hearts of the children,, parents and
teachers who had the privilege to know her.
