I am so so sorry to hear about Helen. As others have noted, she will be greatly missed. I will never forget the warm welcome she gave my children at Wagner Ranch when we returned from several years living overseas in New Zealand. She made them feel like they had always been a part of the school. She was wise and fair and engaged. Parents and children alike would find comfort in her advise and presence. I too think about her every time I drive pass Wagner.

I am so sorry to hear that Helen passed away. I think of her support for my son James when he was at Wagner Ranch, how she was so kind and wise at a hard time for my family, and how she so clearly loved her job, loved the children and cared deeply for those around her. I miss her every time I drive past Wagner.

I am so sorry for your loss. Helen was such a beautiful and lovely spirit. My daughter's class was the first kindergarten class at Wagner Ranch when it reopened with Helen Laird at the helm! She was an amazing leader, guide and friend at the school. I know she will be missed but I also know she leaves wonderful and loving memories for her family and friends.
