Not sure what to say?

I miss my Aunt Helen. A bright light. An independent spirit. An inspiring business woman. Always interested in what was new in my life -- and she made everyone feel special that way. Great sense of humor and style! Besides being "kin," she was a dear friend to my mother and to me. Deeply missed by many.

Such a lovely lady in so many ways. Feel very blessed to have shared time with her. My love and condolences to her beautiful family.

Helen brought a lot of joy to Myers Park UMC, and I always enjoyed fellowship with her when I would teach the Fellowship Sunday School Class and she would play the piano. May God's greatest comfort be with all the family during thses days.

Helen and Wallace were wonderful neighbors, and great friends. they will be missed. my prayers to all the Newmans

To the family, I am sorry to hear news about your loss.
May God who "binds up the broken hearted" and comforted all who mourns" sustain your family during this challenging time. Isaiah 61:1,2

I grew up in the Church with the Newman family. Mrs. Newman was a regal lovely person. She always spoke with me every time we would see each other at Church.. She was in fact my Vacation Bible School teacher. All my love to the Newman family.

Betsy, Compy and Bubbie,
I am sad to read about your Mom's passing. She was a great lady that I am happy to have known as I was growing up and over the years.
I regret I will be out of town and will not be able to see all of you at Compy's and at her funeral service. Please know I am thinking of all of you. I know it is comforting to know she will be at peace.
Blessings,
Gail Goforth
