Helen A. Taylor

I read Helen Taylor's obituary in Sunday's paper. It brought back a specific memory from a long time ago: The summer of 1969, to be exact. The Taylor's owned a very tiny movie theater in the little town of Hale, Michigan. It was only open in the summer for those who came “Up North” to spend the summers at their cabins on one of the many lakes in the area. I remember Mrs Taylor from when I was a kid growing up on bass lake.also at the gem theater .cat lady .she had many cats and she knew them all by name .

Mrs. Taylor has long been considered the "Queen of Bass Lake". I don't remember her ever not being there. Rest in Peace!
