It's with deep sadness that I read my dear colleague Hedy O'Beil passed away last month. I met Hedy while waiting for a bus going downtown Manhattan and we struck up a conversation regarding art. I was unemployed at the time and Hedy offered to me by my assisting her in re-configuring her website and occasionally posting new images of her colorful paintings.
