We were saddened to learn of the death of Mr Henry Bohler. We are pleased to have had the privilege to know him. He lived a full life making many contributions to the country, his community,and his beloved "Hampton Institute", now Hampton University. Thank you Mr Bohler for the example you set and a life well lived.

I know this young fearless face so well as an Alabamian. Reading these comments about Mr. Bohler makes me wish I had met him somewhere along the way. What a great American. What a trailblazer. It seems another Icon and National Treasure has slipped away from us. A moving song tells us that if you can dream, your soul can fly. I know Henry Bohler's soul is flying high.

Henry read "High Flight" at our wedding, and then added his own special surprise poem just for us. We will treasure that memory as well as the honor of flying right seat with him - what an experience! Henry, you have now "slipped the surly bonds of earth", and the trials of the last many months.
