I remember well the fun times we had with Uncle Henry and Aunt Selma at their hom ein Somerset. We'd spent Sat afternoon together and have usual tea and cake. It was always so wonderful for the family to be together.

We always enjoyed our family visits with Henry and the Gatterman family. We shall miss him. He used to sit in the living room talking with Bob Levitov and my father. Now all three of them are gone. I hope they are keeping each other company in heaven.

we were so sorry to hear about Uncle Henry's death. Although it has been a while since we last saw him we hold fond memories of our times together. Especially prominent in my mind is our family get togethers at the house in somerset where the "children" got to sit at the special children's table with the Hawaiian table cloth. My father was a quiet man. I don't remember him every getting very angry, yelling, screaming, or being violent in any way. He was a calm, thoughtful, and peaceful person. He was someone who would listen to you, and someone who loved to tell stories.

My father would paint pictures with words, and would describe his and my mother's life in Hawaii during World War II. Some of my favorite stories were about his work on the submarines, about my mother being attacked by a spider in the...
