Not sure what to say?

As I sit here I am still trying to process a year later that I will not see your smiling, generous face. To have the conversation we would always have when you would arrive for your office visit. I had no idea when you left here the last time it would have been our last conversation. God created and gained back an awesome man and what an delighted pleasure to have you assist God in looking over your family and friends. Continue your peaceful journey in Heaven. I truly miss you.

Dear Margie,Joseph, Andrew, Sarah, Susan, & Maggie:

Oh my goodness! This is so hard to believe! Such a young, healthy, wonderful Husband & Father. Life doesn't seem fair when we lose someone who is so young and full of life. Our Faith says, "Trust in the LORD". Unfortunately, for many of us, this is easier said than done!

May it comfort you to know that each of you are in our daily thoughts & prayers. Please call if we can be of any help.

So very sorry to hear of Jay's passing. Your family is in our thoughts and prayers.

Every time I go into Patapsco , Jays gentle happy spirit will be in my thoughts. We shared a passion for Nature and the peace and beauty of the river gorge. Our prayers will be with you: Margie, Joseph, Andrew, and Sarah, as you journey forward during this time of shock, grief, and loss of your beloved husband and father. May your memories bring you comfort. May his legacy live on forever in your hearts and may the Lord surround you with his loving care to bring healing to your broken...

Deep condolences on your loss. Always looked forward to seeing Jay when working out early at Quest, his dedication and form was unparalleled. I can honestly count him as one of the truest individuals I've ever met, this news saddened me greatly.

There are never enough words to express how saddened we are about Jay's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time. May your hearts be lightened by remembering the wonderful times you spent together. - The Marcellis

I was truly shocked and saddened to hear about Jay's sudden passing. I worked with him at AVB several years ago and remember him has a kind person; a smart and dedicated leader. Always with a smile. My deepest thoughts and prayers are with the Humm (and AVB) family and friends.

My family sends prayers for Jay's family in this time of need. Jay was and will continue to be one the best reasons I chose to work at AvalonBay. He is already missed everyday. May the Lord shine over his family now and always.
