I loved your dad,grandfather as he was my doctor for so many years. He even made house calls for me when I was ill.
He was a wonderful doctor and friend. You could tell him anything.
He always had a smile on his face, and treated you with respect.
It was hard to find another Dr. like him.
He always spoke about all of you with high regard.
He will be missed very much.

Such an amazing man and physician. I as so blessed to know him. I knew him from my nursing school days..he was such a wonderful physician, teacher, human being. He also delivered a few of my nephews. Rest in Peace Dr. Kirkendall. God's speed.

I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Kirkendall's passing. He was an extraordinary doctor. He was warm and caring with a great sense of humor. He delivered my 1st child and took all the fear out of it for me. He will be greatly missed.

Hank was such a gentle, intelligent, and warm man. We all so looked forward to seeing Hank every summer at the Cape and experience his warm hug and genuine smile. Always such a loving father, devoted husband and caring friend. The world has lost a special spirit, but I'm sure that Maureen and Hank are enjoying his homecoming together!
