Not sure what to say?

I am shocked to find out that Dr. Shuey has passed. I was looking up his information for a friend's daughter who needs a good surgeon. Dr. Shuey operated on me around 2008 after other doctors said I had to live with my pain. He was a blessing to find even though I have some nerve damage he fixed my problem. My heart goes out to his family. I still remember the many hats he had in his office and his wonderful sense of humor.

I just heard today of Dr. Shuey's passing and it stopped me in my tracks. He operated on me in 1993. He was so good to me, easing my fears and making me laugh. The surgery was successful and has given me many years without pain. God bless him and his family.

I was deeply saddened to the news of Dr. Shuey's passing. I was a patient of his for almost 20 years and will be forever grateful to him for the miraculous surgeries he performed on me. He was such a wonderful doctor who had such a warm and gentle spirit. He'll be greatly missed and my prayers go out to his family.

Dr. Shuey was a wonderful man, with a great sense of humor who could put you at ease the moment he entered the room. I will forever be grateful to him for his expertise. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.

I once was a patient of doctor Shuey and heard he was sick .Dr Shuey was a great man and a great doctor who tried to make me feel better. My prayers go out to his family .

I am truly saddened by Dr Shuey’s passing. I was just telling my wife 2 days ago that I need to write him and let him know the result of his healing care, he gave me my life back. Dr Shuey performed 3 lumbar and 1 cervical surgeries on me over 5 years. I didn’t hold out much hope for full recuperation but he told me “ah, you’ll be fine”. Since then I have completed 1 Olympic distance and 5 sprint distance triathlons as well as a 100k bike event!!! I wanted so bad to tell him this and...

I am sad to hear of Dr. Shuey passing. He was a great spirited man. I went to him last year and it did't take long for him to heal my back. He was a great character with his hats. I respected him for all of his honesty and the person he was. I send my sympathies to his family and friends. I will miss him.

Dr. Shuey was a one of a kind MD. My deepest condolences to his family. His family was truly blessed by his wonderful smile, sense of humor and gentleness.

I was very saddened to read Henry's obituary in the Huntsville (AL) Times this morning. "Hooker" and were friends and bandmates at Lee High School in the early 60s. I knew he went on to become a neurosurgeon, and I am heartened to learn that he was a fine and caring physician, a natural development for the warm and fun-loving young man I knew. I send my prayers and condolences to his family.
