I"am so sorry to hear of Herbie"s passing. We went to highschool together and hung out on the drag on Gulfway. Had alot of good times together! My condolences to his family.

We are sorry for your loss. We liked Herbie. He was of great comfort to my Mom Peggy when I was sick. We will miss him.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. We were neighbors of the Derese family in Groves, when we were very young, and my most vivid memory is of Herbie teaching us how to do the "Twist". He demonstrated it using a bath towel. We gave him our German Shepherd dog, Major, because he bonded with Herbie and loved him so much.
I am sorry that I didn't get to see Herbie since I have been back in the area. Please accept my condolences, I know he will be missed by many.

Please accept my condolences to the family for your loss. I believe that first time I met Herbie he was cooking on the grill. Many years have past and I know Herbie will be missed. May you rest in peace Herbie....
