Not sure what to say?

Tim and Caitlin,
We love you and Bert forever.

Tim & Kaitlin
You guys are the greatest and Bert was deffinatly the greatest too! I will miss him sooooo.....much and he is my HERO!! Also the best cheerleader and one of our #1 fans in volleyball! Love Always Jamie

When I think of Bert I think of laughter and good times. The irony is that I worked for Bert for several years. He was the kindest man with an overabundance of common sense and a tender heart.
My heart has been aching for several days. He and his family will remain in my prayers for many months to come.
Wendy Hopewell

To Bert's Family:
I know that what I say here will not alter the situation, but my words are said with heartfelt love and sincerity. Bert was an extraordinary person who was kind and loving. He always made everyone feel at ease and at home whether it was at work or in his own home. I'll always remember Bert, Tim and I rooting for the Kentucky Wildcats amongst all those Louisville Cardinal fans at the basketball parties in their home.

God bless you, your friends, and family.

I had the good fortune of working with Bert for many years as he solely handled my account when he was the Vanity Fair Rep. Bert and I have had many great laughs over the years and a few cries. I really grew to love Bert and I cannot believe he is gone. He will be missed so much by so many. Also my love goes to Tim and Berts children, parents and brothers. Pat Metcalf and Joe Metcalf

Tim,
We have spoken only once on the phone. I cannot tell you how badly my heart is broken. Bert was such a special person and such a good friend. I only heard about Bert yesterday. Please know you and all the rest of Bert's family are in my prayers. I will miss him and his love of life and laughter.
With great sadness,
Katherine

Tim,
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I loved Bert so much and treasure the years we spent together as competitors, co-workers, and friends. He had a zest for life that many of us can only imagine. What a terrific man! My thoughts and prayers go out to you and Bert's family during this time.

Deepest Sympathy,

Rhonda Batke

Tim & Kaitlin:
You and your family are in our prayers. Burt was a very special person. Your family has the love and closeness that many couples and families look for all their lives and some never find. Our hope is that the memories and love will get you through your period of grief and that time will lessen your pain. Please know that you are not alone and have many friends who care and are praying for all of you.
