HERBERT IRVING

I was distressed to hear that Herb passed. I worked with him daily quite a few years ago when Global was sold to the company I was working for. In the years that we worked together I grew to respect Herb more than I can express in this short note. He was a mentor and always seem to make the big issues seem smaller in context. I enjoyed very much hearing his stories about the "FROZEN FOOD" pioneering days and how Sysco was founded. I am very proud to have been part of Herb's being nominated...
