Evelyn Arnum

Evelyn Arnum, a cherished mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away on May 12, 2025, at her home in Middle Island, New York. She was born in Ireland, where her family roots shaped the values and work ethic that she carried throughout her life.

Evelyn dedicated many years of her life to her career as an insurance clerk for Royal Globe Insurance in New York, NY. Her professionalism and dedication were evident to all who worked alongside her, and she took great pride in providing excellent service to her clients.

She is survived by her loving sons, Eric (Gayle) Arnum, Glen (Ruthann) Arnum, and Mark (Svetlana) Arnum, as well as her adored grandchildren, Gerard, Drew, and Frank. The warmth of their bonds will be a lasting testament to her nurturing spirit and unwavering support.  She is also survived by her caring brothers, James and Stephen Guinane.   Evelyn now joins her beloved grandson, the late Dean, and her devoted parents, James and Kathleen Guinane, in eternal rest. Their memory lives on through the family she cultivated and the many lives she touched.

Visitation will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home Of Middle Island on May 16, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A Mass in her honor will take place at Saint Frances Cabrini RC Church in Coram on May 17, 2025, at 10:00 AM.

Evelyn's legacy of love, commitment, and care will forever hold a special place in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing her.
