Herb: I was over to the Sacramento Army depot last week. Much different, trees and grass have been planted. Had a recall of our adventures with the 1976 Uncle Sam float that we built for the parade down waat ave, and the play 1976, that we travelled withy. If you know where that Uncle Sam and eagle are, let me know. arne D/Supply, and credit union board.

Dear Dad,
You endured many challenges in life and are finally at peace with the Lord. If any man does one thing well, it is in loving his family. Thank you for loving us.
Kathleen Knopp

Love you Dad. I'll remember you in a special way every year on my birthday, the same day you left for Heaven. See you there some day!

Thank you Arne and Linda!
It was so nice of you to put a message in Dad's guestbook. This is such a cool online application or blog site...I guess that is what you would call it. This is the first time that I've tried this sort of thing. It was included when I bought the obituary.
Anyway, I just want to thank you so much and I appreciate your comments. Yeah, my Dad was an amazing person! Quite a guy.
With love,
Herbert's second oldest daughter,
Karen Mary...
