We appreciate and are thankful for all those who came to his services yesterday. He is forever in all of our hearts.

Rosemary: Herbert and I graduated together from McClatchy and I lost contact with Herbert after his graduation from Sac State. I was fortunate (after 60+ years) to vist with Herbert months ago at a South Side Improvement Club Meeting where we discussed old times. We also discussed how you and I worked together at Sac State when it was located on the Sac. Jr. College campus in the 1950s. Please accept my sincere condolences on your loss.

We worked with Herb for many years. We are sorry for your loss. Richard & Nancy Rodriguez, SPD (retired)

Her was my heart since i was 4 or 5 years old, like a father that i did not have. I have many memories of my wonderful brother in law. And will miss him even though we have not had much communication in the past year. Never ever for got about him as he has always been in my thoughts. Love to his family. Sister Genevieve Decker

It was our pleasure to have known Herb socially for many years, both on and the golf course. He was a real gem.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
