Reverend Plummer became the Pastor of Swansboro Baptist during my youth when it was still located at 2810 Midlothian Turnpike. I believe our father, Deacon George Ridley was Chairman of the Deacon Board. Reverend Plummer guided our church during the transition to Roanoke St. and continued to oversee the church's growth there. A man of God and conviction, Reverend Plummer will be missed! Well done, they good and faithful servant!

Our deepest condolences to the Plummer family. We grew up with him as our pastor. He married my brother, buried my mother and baptize me and my sibling. He has always been a part of our family and will forever be missed, especially his loving smile and kind words of encouragement in our time of need. We will forever be grateful for all the times we shared. May God bless you and the family and we keep you in our prayers. He will always have a special place in our hearts. Rest in peace.
