SHERRY--Herbert MD, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2023. Herbert is survived by his beloved wife Sheila, children David and Laura, Jason and Adam and grandchildren Benjamin, Layla, Alden and Deborah. He was an inspiration to his family, friends, patients and students.

I first met Dr. Sherry in April 1982 when I broke my leg - as it turned out quite seriously. Almost ten years later I turned to him again when I broke my other leg - again quite seriously. In all my encounters with him Dr. Sherry listened carefully, explained much, counseled patience, offered empathy, provided wisdom, and practiced medicine artfully and skillfully. Every time I left his office I felt better. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Herb was a great person, doctor,father, husband and grandfather. He was so kind and we all enjoyed having him as our 2nd cousin. He certainly will be missed by all. Love Bobby and Susan Alterman and extended family.
