Just found out about Dr. Sherry's death. He was a wonderful doctor. He treated patients with respect and concern, and I always felt secure in his knowledge and skilled care. My deepest sympathies to Sheila (who was always always wonderful when I was a patient) and the rest of the family.

I first met Dr. Sherry in April 1982 when I broke my leg - as it turned out quite seriously. Almost ten years later I turned to him again when I broke my other leg - again quite seriously. In all my encounters with him Dr. Sherry listened carefully, explained much, counseled patience, offered empathy, provided wisdom, and practiced medicine artfully and skillfully. Every time I left his office I felt better. I will miss him.

So sorry to hear about your loss. Herb was a great person, doctor,father, husband and grandfather. He was so kind and we all enjoyed having him as our 2nd cousin. He certainly will be missed by all. Love Bobby and Susan Alterman and extended family.
