Thinking of you Hy . Ray

Hy is still in our thoughts a year after his passing. He is missed.

To the family of Mr. Katz,
I am really very sorry to hear about your loss. He was a very special person to me and I enjoyed knowing him. I am thinking of all of you and my prayers and thoughts are with you.
May he rest in peace.
With condolences,
Lori Cohen

I've been friends with Hy's son Stu for many years and saw Hy in action as Red Eye's the Clown at many of the .U.S.Transplant games I worked with Stu doing a/v/ work. Th smiles and comfort he brought to those kids who were suffering the ill fate of a failing organ was priceless. May he rest in peace. My sincere condolence to Mrs. Katz and Stu.

Farewell Hy from an old Legion Ave friend way back. You were an institution. RIP. Lenny Myers

My condolences to Hy's family on his passing. Having lived in the Westville section of New Haven for many years, I enjoyed going to his restaurant if for nothing else than his meatloaf dinner. Still the best I ever ate.I remember him playing basketball at the JCC with my uncle Gerry Greene and his friendship with my dad Lou who was a mason, at Cosmopolitan Lodge.

I grew up with Hy on Elliott Street in New Haven and graduated from Hillhouse High School with him. He was a wonderful man and a faithful friend. Hy will be missed by all of those whose life he touched. My deapest sympathy to his family. Thanks for the memories Hy. Ray

Karol...Extending to you and your family our deepest sympathy in Hy's passing....remembering all the fun time and fond memories...he touched so many hearts...Joan and Mitchell Rodofsky
