Uncle Herman was our family patriarch. A man of wisdom, a man of prayer, a man anointed by God to preach the gospel. Oh, how we'll miss the talks that we had with you. The joy we had just to be in your presence. We anticipated your every visit with excitement. You kept us laughing, rejoicing, and those moments when we called needing to hear a word from the Lord you were there. From childhood all of us loved hearing you preach. We truly paid attention.
