Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. The obit picture is just how I remember him. I remember the birthday parties at Aurelia's.What a blessing to have known him (the entire family) The last time I saw both was at a restaurant approximately 15 years ago. God Bless you and receive my condolences.

Dearest Mrs. Hernandez and Family,

It was truly an honor to have Mr. Hernandez play such a huge part in our life from my childhood to our wedding. Words can not express our sorrow. Our memories of him are held deep within our hearts and we will always remember his words; go ahead and eat your ice cream before it melts. Yes, true to his words, our time here on Earth is precious; enjoy being here while seeking God’s Word and fulfilling his special purpose.

We love you so...

I am sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Hernandez. He was one of my Principals at Douglass. I will always remember that smile.
