Mrs. Hilda Verdella Hanna Matthews, 93, of 1000 Methodist Oaks Drive, Orangeburg, passed away on April 7, 2021.


Graveside Services for Mrs. Matthews, will be held at 11 AM Monday, April 12, 2021, at the Browning Branch Cemetery, Old Number Six Hwy, Elloree, with Rev. Stanley Rivers officiating.  Masks will be required for persons attending the service.

Drive-thru viewing is scheduled from 2 to 4 PM Sunday, April 11, 2021 at Williams Funeral Home of Elloree.
Online condolences may be also be sent to the family via info@williamsfuneralhomeofelloree.com. Friends may also call the funeral home.

Great lady.Special cousin whose radiance and kindness will sorely be missed by all--friends & family alike. I speak for all the Williams descendants here in Chicago, both alive now as well as those no longer with us who knew and treasured Ms. Hilda.

We met John and Hilda Matthews in 1993 when we became neighbors and they became adopted parents.We shared many Outings and Endless amounts of quality time together.
