Just found out that Dr.Takita passed so sorry for your loss my sincere condolences wish I knew. Before now he saved my life with the grace & mercy of god thank you Dr.Takita My you Rip always

It's with great sadness that I learned of Dr. Takita's passing. He was my doctor and friend long after saving my life in 1976 by accepting me as a patient in his experimental immunology treatment of lung cancer.

So sorry to hear of Dr Takita´s passing. What a great man he was. I scrubbed cases with him at Gates & Suburban for many years. He was small but mighty. His laugh was infectious. He was an amazing surgeon. So kind. He will be missed by so many. My condolences to his family. I know he ran up those stairs to heaven.

I was so sorry to hear of his passing. I worked with Dr. Takita at Millard Fillmore Gates and at Gates Vascular. He was a wonderful surgeon. Endeared by many. All of us loved working with him in the OR. A sweet story , years ago, my daughter had to learn a poem in Japanese called "glow worm." I asked Dr. Takita if my daughter could speak the poem to him in Japanese. He readily agreed.
