Hohepa Justyn PAEWAI

I met Hepa only once or twice, he helped me with preparing my horse trip in the south Island. I keep a great memory of him and was moved to learn his death.

So sorry to hear the sad news just this morning. What a great thrill it was to be in the team when Hepa came out of retirement to play against the 1977 Lions for his beloved Hawkes Bay. Hepa was a special rugby player, a terrific guy and greatly respected by those who knew him.
