Not sure what to say?

Gordon & Frank,
Sorry to hear of your father's death. He was always such a nice, pleasant, and delightful customer whenever we talked at Hoyer's years ago. Happy you were able to have him in your life so many years. God be with your families.

After reading some of the the thoughts of the man I knew as Uncle Pete. Its easy to see that we all carry some of the same memories from such a wonderful family. I to, remember the Candy dish were you could find tootsie rolls and mary janes. Damn were those maryjanes tough for a 5 yr old to chew. :)
Thanksgiving at Aunt Helens and Uncle Petes was also something I will never forget. From us little kids running around outside with the older ones. Lawnmower rides from Jimmy. The walk across...

Frank and family, I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Pete, my mother's step nephew, as a wonderful guy. Unfailingly pleasant, sincere and helpful, I felt lucky to know him.

Frank & family, sorry to read of your Dad's passing. He was always a gentleman and always had a smile on his face. Our thoughts are with you at this time.

Uncle Pete, I will truly miss your stories and your energy. You are missed.

When I first met Uncle Pete he was Mr. Brooks to me, the nice man around the corner who would fix my bike (actually he would fix anyone's bike) when it was broken. While he fixed the bikes his lovely wife would give us cookies and milk! More often then not my sister's & I would just go over to get some cookies from Mrs. Brooks! As the years went by he went from fixing my bike to looking at my car when something went wrong with it. Eventually he became Uncle Pete when I married his nephew and...

My grandfather left me with so many memories it's impossible to name them all. Here are a few coca cola in glass bottles,YooHoo,mary jane and tootsie rolls, mardoff's donuts, eating deli sandwiches every saturday while my dad and him fixed cars, wednesday night dinners(my grandmother was an awesome cook. He was the kindest and most giving person I have ever met. I was blessed to have him for so many years.

The character of his family is a true testament to the person he was. With deepest sympathy, Bill & Louise Dillon
