Not sure what to say?

What an awesome Dr. He was the pediatrician for myself, my sister and brother, (Dan, Julie & Jennifer Combs), and he also took care of my daughter for a few years. He will be missed.

"Hod" and family,
So sorry for your loss.
Your Dad was a great man. We met him one time, about 10 years ago, at a U of M basketball game (tickets courtesey of him)- we sat next to him - our son was 10 at the time, he took such patience and delight in explaining the game to him, and I enjoyed talking with him and learning a little about him that evening,as well. He left quite an impression after only one visit!
What memories you must have.

You and your family are in our...

Uncle Howard's funeral ceremony gave a clear indication of how much he was both loved and respected. I had always known this of course and have so much love and respect for him. Seeing his brother Frank, (who is my father), telling stories about Uncle Howard growing up in front of a rapt audience of his nephews and thier children clearly illustrated the love and fascination for this marvelous man. I am forever grateful that I had the chance to visit with him at Michigan home football...

Hod, Janice and Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

I never had the oportunity to meet Dr. Comstock, but he sounds like an
amazing man. We think the world of
you both. We miss you since you left Monroe, but hope that you are doing well in Arizona.

I only knew "Uncle Hod" through the great stories told to our family by his niece (and my dear sister-in-law), Lynn Comstock Sims. She and her family thought the world of him. When Maris was born my mom questioned having her outside with no hat or covering on her head. The response - Uncle Hod's advice was that the sun and breeze would be good for her . . . apparently it was! I have thoroughly enjoyed reading all the wonderful postings which portray Dr. Comstock as such a devoted...

My mother called this week to tell me Dr. Comstock had died. In 1955 I was born premature and my mother always told me I was given the first complete blood transfusion in Lansing at birth. I never knew the doctor's name until now. Without him, I am sure I would not be here today. My heartfelt thoughts go out to his family.
