Dear Wayne,
I am very sorry to hear of your dad's passing. Dalton was very instrumental in some of the skills that helped me in baseball. I would like to get with you, maybe for golf or just shooting the breeze, my phone number is 281-979-5377 and my e-mail address is [email protected]
I look forward to hearing from you and again I am very sorry for your lose. Tell Bill and Cindy and the rest of your family that my prayers are with them. Look forward to talking to you.

It is truly an honor to have been called a friend by Dalton. I along with my entire family are saddened at his passing. Dalton was a close friend of my Dad and Mom, he was also my most remembered coach during my years in baseball. Dalton will be remembered as a go-to person for any reason, be it a hitting lesson or a life crisis. After I moved to Lake Livingston Dalton was given a key to my home and it was always a pleasure to come home from work and find Dalton waiting on the back porch watching the lake and waiting for the start of the nightly Astro's game, a shared dinner and tall fish tales. Dalton was a true man among men who always held out his hand and heart to help others. The fish frys at my home for the Men of Peace Lutheran Brotherhood will be treasured moments for everyone involved. May God be with his family during this time.
