I read a post on social media today asking who my favorite teacher from high school was. Although this was about 25 years ago, Mr Garrick was my favorite. I caught him at the tail end of his teaching career, but he left a lasting mark on me concerning united states history and politics. Rest in peace Mr Garrick.

We first met and befriended Howard and Carol Garrick and family when transferred to Beale Air Force Base, CA in August 1979. The Garrick family was already at Beale when we arrived and our initial meeting was at the LDS Church located on the east side of Marysville, California.
