While I do not have the privilege of personally knowing the family of SGT Hasselkuss, I'm so impressed that they persued the important endeavor of bringing him home. I now live in Venice Florida, however I am formerly from the small town of Walbridge and then Perrysburg. Of course, Elmore was a very familiar name to me. I have been a WWII collector since my service during the Cold War. I am also a graduate of the R.O.T.C. program at B.G.S.U. In my collection is a copy of an article provided to me with the memorabilia of Jack Olsen who was a pilot with the Army Air Corps during WWII.
