Howard Ornstein owner of Non-Stop Plumbing and Heating for over 30 years in Rockland County died on Monday April 11, 2016 just 3 days shy of his 73rd birthday. Howard is predeceased by his wife Diane. He is the son of Jennie Ornstein who survives him and the son of Abraham Ornstein. Howard was born in the Bronx and attended Monroe High School. He was in the Army and served in Vietnam. Howard is survived by his loving son Andrew of Pomona, loving daughter Jacqueline(Daniel) Ornstein Michaels of Morristown, NJ, brother Marvin of Newark, DE, adoring grandchildren Bo, Sylvie and Dahlia Michaels, former wife Michele Ornstein and devoted longtime companion Rita Shay, nieces Francine Miller, Erica. Ornstein and nephew Steven Ornstein, many very good friends and longtime business partner Fred Garfinkel. He will be greatly and sorrowfully missed. Graveside services will be held today, Wednesday April 13, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Frederick W. Loescher Veteran Cemetery, New Hempstead, NY
