Howard Lee Peterson

Mount Vernon - Howard Lee Peterson, 98, of Mount Vernon, WA, passed away on May 25, 2021. He was born on October 22, 1922, in Inwood Township, MI, to Oscar and Hazel Peterson.

He was proud of his service during World War II as a tank driver in the European theater. After World War II, Howard moved to Chicago where he was a graduate of a watching making school and earned a 2 year Gemology Degree.

Howard is survived by his wife of 10 years, Linda Peterson; a son, Steve Peterson; daughters, Luana Eggert and Amber Fleckenstein; and granddaughters, Sara Fassett and Amy McGuire.
