Sara: I would like to express my deepest sympathy. It was only this morning that I learned of Sam's passing. He was one of the finest people I've ever known. The good times we shared as bluegrass brothers will always be remembered. Don: to you I also express my deepest regret at the passing of your brother.
With much love to all of you.......Mike

Sara, and family. Sorry to read of Howie's passing. Sara, I was your next door neighbor when you lived in Essex, went to VRHS,and when you and Howie were dating Howie. I was class of 63. I envied him. He had a good looking girlfriend and a good looking car. It sounds like you two had a beautiful life together.

Dearest Sara & family,
We were so very sorry to hear the sad news. Sam was such a wonderful, kind, talented man. He will be greatly missed at the many things we do together in FL. We will miss our great Musicman (Highwayman). He will never be forgotten. Love John & Cheryl

We live in a house that "Sam" built in 1968. 38 years later our daughter bought another house built by "Sam". Our families have been friends for 48 years. We will miss him. RIP our good friend.
