Not sure what to say?

I am not surprised of all Howard's accomplishments. I remember him as an outstanding student. He was serious but soft spoken and kind. I am sure he made a difference in many lives.

I grew up with Howard and his friends all knew that he would be successful. He was bright and kind. My heartfelt sympathy goes to his family.

Dr. Sokolov was a wonderful man of integrity. He and I shared the same birthday but he had me by a few years was our joke. Will miss Howard. RIP!

I also worked with him at Netcare. He was so very kind. I will also remember his gentle nature and eagerness to teach a 19 year old about mental health. He definitely left an impression and will be remembered fondly. Dr. Sokolov was truly one of a kind.

I had the good fortune to be taught psychotherapy by Dr Sokolov at OSU. I very much admired his gentle nature, precise analysis, and unflappable persona. They don't make psychiatrists like him anymore.

Dr. Sokolov helped me gain insight into forensic patient care when studying and developing the concept of Treatment Malls, which became the basis of design for Summit Behavioral Healthcare in Cincinnati. A true coleague,I have missed him since he retired from the Department.

I will miss Howard so much! He was a wonderful, smart and loving person. I will remember him always. Love to his family as he spoke of all of you lovingly. I worked with Howard for more than 10 years and he was loved and admired by all who knew him.

What a wonderful man. I worked with Dr. Sokolov at Netcare for about eight years before he left to pursue other interests. He was a warm, caring person. He gave me a chance to coordinate and run the office there when nobody else would. I learned a lot of things from him, including how to treat people with the dignity that the deserve. I will always remember you Dr. Sokolov. I will pray for you in the coming years. Thank you for everything that you did for me and your memory will always be...
