I also worked with him at Netcare. He was so very kind. I will also remember his gentle nature and eagerness to teach a 19 year old about mental health. He definitely left an impression and will be remembered fondly. Dr. Sokolov was truly one of a kind.

I had the good fortune to be taught psychotherapy by Dr Sokolov at OSU. I very much admired his gentle nature, precise analysis, and unflappable persona. They don't make psychiatrists like him anymore.

What a wonderful man. I worked with Dr. Sokolov at Netcare for about eight years before he left to pursue other interests. He was a warm, caring person. He gave me a chance to coordinate and run the office there when nobody else would. I learned a lot of things from him, including how to treat people with the dignity that the deserve. I will always remember you Dr. Sokolov. I will pray for you in the coming years. Thank you for everything that you did for me and your memory will always be with me. Thank you again.
