To Peggy, Mary, Margie, Jenny, Chuck and the rest of the West family;

Margie and others were kind enough to let me know about your recent loss of Howard. The years have passed by, but I still feel a special fondness for the West family.

I want to extend my sympathy on the death of your father. Although I am sure I only met him a couple of times when he was visiting, dropping off, or picking up people from St. Ben's High School, I do know that he was loved by his children. What greater gift is there than that? My prayers are with you.

My prayers and thoughts are with all members of the Howard West family at this difficult time. He was a strong man who produced a strong family.

almost 17 years ago I started to call Howard West "Dad". I am very proud to be his son-in-law, and happy to be part of your family. I will miss him very much. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
