Not sure what to say?

Our condolences to you Dody and your family. Just having heard the news of your loss from Sister Mary Lee, it has brought back so many childhood memories as our familys were so close. There were always family gatherings and so many weekends at the cottage on Lake Huron. That was so long ago but we like to remember good times and we certainly had our share of them as kids. Our prayers are with you that God will ease the pain of your loss.

I started working for Pitre Buick in 1994 after leaving a Dealership in Chicago. Bert was a very fair and "down to earth man". The funniest thing I remember was after he built the Import store he came to me with one of the toliet float rods broke in his hand. He said Jerry get me a new one of these I was trying to lower the water level in the toliet tank and it broke. I laughed and said "Bert those are low flow toliets 1.5 gallons. You will be missed by many! Bert was a true blue Car guy!!

A true American businessman with a heart of gold. Rest in Peace.

My heart goes out to the entire Pitre family during this difficult time. Bert was a kind, generous man who loved his family and friends dearly. It is unfortunate that I am out of town in Michigan for my mothers birthday and therefore unable to be present and pay my respects to a wonderful man. Although I didn't know Bert that well, he was always fun to be around. It's hard to believe that I had just gone to a Diamondback game with him and Dody just last year. I am happy he is at peace...

Dody and family: we wish we were there with you.
Bert is in our prayers. We will always remember all the good times and there was a lot of them. We will
miss him.
