Read MoreHugh was my algebra teacher in the junior high. Math was never my strong suit and consequently will always remember the sign posted below the clock in Hugh´s room "Time Passes, Will You?". A testament to his sense of humor and the many hours I observed that clock. Later in life we became friends working on the LEAF Foundation, Hugh´s labor of love for LASD.
