I remember Hugh's when I worked at the VA. Bright, funny, friendly and approachable. You were always comfortable around him. He felt like your oldest brother. He will always be remembered.

Dear Geri and Family,
I just found out about your loss. There are no words to express my deepest sympathy. Praying that as the days pass you find comfort in knowing you and your family are still being held up in prayers. Also praying that your hearts be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. Love and prayers, Denise(Monique & Monet Mom)

Dear Geri,
I found out today about Hugh. My heart aches for you and your family. Hugh was there for us when Karl died. I am so sorry I was not there for you. I consider it a honor and a privilege to be in Hugh's company. There is no better angel watching over us and sitting at the right side of our Father. He may be absent but he is with the Lord. I am praying for increasing blessings and strength during this difficult time. Again I am sorry I was not present. Love, Sylvia

We become acquainted with many doing our lifetimes, but of that many there are but a few that leave an imprint that you treasure in the core of your being. For me, Hugh was one of these few. I will remember him for his passion, integrity, and fortitude. I extend my condolences to his family. In their grief, may it help them to know that his life is a memorial to others that were blessed to have worked with him over many years at VA NJ. With God, we know that there are no endings, only...
