I am very sorry to hear the news of the passing of Dr. Hunter Hamlett. My father, Dr.Nathaniel Boggs was a friend and worked with him at VSU many years ago. Our prayer's go out to the Hamlett family.

Great is the Lord and greatly to praised, He will be our guide even unto death.

Mrs. Beth, Greg & Jeff: It is with profound sympathy that I send these words of comfort in the loss of your loved one. I learned of his passing today and felt compelled to send a message of encouragement. His earthly sojourn is complete and he rests with the Father in Heaven. May you hold fast to the cherished memories of the past and may the peace of God which surpasses all understanding be yours this day...

We are sorry to hear of your loss. We didn`t get to know Dr. Hamlett very long, but was pleased to be a part of your family for a short spell. May god be with you during this time of sorrow.

Mrs. HUNTER: I WAS SURE SORRY TO READ OF THE PASSING OF HUNTER. ONLY SAW HIM DURING TAX SEASON BUT HE WAS ALWAYS SOMEONE THAT I REALLY LOOKED FORWARD TO TALKING TO. I FEEL THAT I HAVE LOST A SPECIAL FRIEND WHO TREATED ME SO KINDLY.

I am so sorry to learn that Dr. Hamlett has passed. He was such a help to me as an undergraduate at Virginia State and as a graduate student at Ohio State. To the Hamlett family, please know that I will always remember him fondly and remain extremely appreciative of his unfailing help and reception of me.
Take the fond memories and God with you through this very sad time.

To the Hamlett Family, We were so sorry to hear the loss of Dr. Hunter Hamlett. We have been friends for many years. We trust you will find comfort in the Lord and memories. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

My deepest sympathies and condolences to the entire Hamlett family. He was an excellent role-model for young persons at Virginia State during his time of service. My sincerest appreciation for the many scarifices made in the name of education.
