Not sure what to say?

Another year gone but not forgotten brother, I miss you.

You were a very cool Marine rest easy brother.

I went to Marine Corps cook school in Fort Lee , Virginia with Ian Carey and he was my roommate there. He was very funny and it was an honor to have served with him. We were suppose to get together and go down to Miami and meet some Latin women. You will be forever missed Ian you were always had a kind heart. I hope to visit your family one day share a picture we have together. You , me and Douglas. Semper Fi Marine.

Not a day goes by that I don´t think about you Carey! I really miss you and wish we could have had that summer together! I love you Carey!

I still think about Ian frequently and how much he and i went together. Truly my brother and one of my greatest friends. I love you buddy.

In 2000, Ian and I were stationed together in Okinawa, Japan. We lost touch after I received orders to Camp Pendleton but in 2010 we were able to find each other again. I wish he would have stayed in touch with me, we were supposed to see each the summer. He will always hold a special place in my heart and I will truly miss him especially his smile! I love you Ian, Rest at Ease til Valhalla we will meet again!

Gosh, I served with Iam in Okinawa. He was honestly one of my most memorable friends and brother ever. I lost touch with him after we left Japan. I always tried to track him him down after, I know he went into the Army and after his accident had a rough time. If I can speak to anyone close to him I'd love too.

He was a military Veteran who proudly served his country, not "that served his country."

Paula, I am so very sorry to hear about Ian. My deepest, heartfelt thoughts go out to you. I will always remember that handsome (and oh so charming! ) young man coming in the office door to see you.
