Not sure what to say?

How can I be silent, how can I rest, when He whom I loved is dust, and I too shall die and be laid in the earth?

Ian and I attended Miquon Upoer School. I remember him as a boy; very bright, always inquisitive and sweet. I am very sorry for his family’s and friends’ loss.

For Ian my brother I miss him every day

We just learned of the news today (5/14/12). We are shocked and will definitely miss him at Hemlock Hall. Our thoughts and prayers are with the Hemphill Family. Susan, Paul and Anthony Provost

Later in conversation I learned that he was a member of Malta Boat Club knew many of the same people on the River and an avid rower, as am I being a member Of Penn ACRC. We shared many a conversation about Boathouse Row and rowing with the intention of getting...

I am the Executive Director at PA Center for Adapted Sports. Ian was a valued volunteer in our program, Philadelphia Adaptive Rowing/PRPD, and always kind and generous with his time. He was free with sharing what he knew, and unafraid to tell you!
The athletes with disabilities who were lucky enough to row with him benefited from his expertise. I will remember him most, standing on our dock, looking around to see where he could be most useful, and putting himself to work getting the...
