I knew him when he was Father Ian. He served as an associate priest at my parish ( St. Victors ) in West Hollywood, California back in the 1970 's. Having served as an alter boy back in the mid sixties at that parish and having served with many different priests father Ian and Father George Bresslin were my favorites. Msgr. Ian was a wonderful man and priest. I enjoyed visiting him on numerous occasions, and was lucky enough to go sailing with him on his boat. I will miss his homilies at the Thanksgiving Day masses in Fresno, when he would come to visit the Sullivan Family. May his memory be eternal.
