Not sure what to say?

What a delightful person -- witty, charming, full of fun. We met Ian in 1976 in Montreal and stayed friends ever after, through many visits and college reunions. We miss him deeply and console ourselves with many happy memories.

I recall 63 years of friendship as Brother in Law and Sister in Law. Uncle Ian was loved and admired by his nieces Beth Orvis Shuster (Jeff), Jennifer Orvis Cline, and Kenneth James Orvis (Christine) as well as by cousins Tom Gordon (Nereida) and Jack Gordon (Renee). What a shock to learn of Ian's death. We were friends for over 40 years - first met in Montreal in 1979. What a delightful person! Such good company, so much fun! We will miss him greatly.

Ian, may God Bless.
I will miss you and your travel stories.

A privilege to have known such a fine
Scotsman and true gentleman. God will take good care of of him in Heaven.
