Not sure what to say?

Ian and I were work chums at J. Inglis Wright Advertising 1964 - 1967. Boy, did we have some fun, a whole bunch of us young guys. I remember Lynda from that time. She was lovely and she and Ian were always going to be with each other. We lost touch and saw Ian just one time for about ten minutes at an industral safety company in Lower Hutt where he worked. That was maybe 1985.
We were never to see each other again.
So now here we are but Ian is gone and I never got to say...

Early morning trips to Wellington on route to Noosa will never be the same without Thorpie driving us.

Just heard about the tragic passing of Ian. What wonderful memories I have. First met Ian at round table many years ago and appreciated all he did for the community.
He had a wonderful sense of humour and will be sorely missed. Many fantastic moments including the Father Xmas sleigh and our secret handshake which always made both of us laugh.
You and your family are in our thoughts Lynda. So sad.

Very sad to read of Ian's passing, we have great memories of "Thorpy" and remember him for the neat guy he was. Our thoughts are with you Linda and your family at this time.

So very sad to hear this. Wendy Jervis and David Schlegel.

Fond memories of being involved with you with rugby and housie helping the kids. You were a such a special person. It was good fun and good times. Condolences to Lynda and family on your loss
