Not sure what to say?

I count myself blessed to have witnessed the love shared between Ida and Ed Shames and witness their dedication to each other. Ida inspired all of us and miss her and Ed. God bless them and grant them eternal peace together. Our prayers and condolences continue for the Shames family.

The world is a bit more cloudy with the passing of a great lady, Ida Shames. I have had the pleasure of sharing her company and will always love the way she spoke her mind. She was devoted to the Col. as he was to her. My thoughts and prayers to the family and thanks for allowing me to be a part of Ida's world, if only for a short time.

Please accept our sincere condolences on Ida's passing. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers.
May Hashem comfort you among the mourners of Zion and Jerusalem.

I will always remember with kindness and gratitude
My neighbors and family friends, Ida and Edward Shames.
My profound condolences, Eddie,

Eddie and family. It's with great sadness that Nancy and I learned of Ida's passing. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Dear Ed and family, It is with great sadness that I learned last Friday of Ida's passing. I was blessed to have met Ida several times and she was a wonderful lady. I loved seeing her love and devotion for you and the same from you for her. Your marriage sets an example for the rest of us of what a marriage means. My thoughts and prayers are with you, your children, grandchildren, family and friends. We know that Ida is in God's loving arms and presence. God Bless and see you soon. Ernie

My dear friend Ed. My sincere condolences for your loss. You always spoke highly about Ida and I really felt the love you have for her every time you mentioned her name. Sadly I didn't have the privilege to meet her but I feel I did know her a bit because of you.
Sending much love to you and your family, your loyal friend Ron from Belgium.

Since the early '70's we've enjoyed the friendship of all of the Shames family... especially Ida. What a lady! Fun, full of love and so devoted to each one of you. Sending our love and heartfelt sympathy,
