The world is a bit more cloudy with the passing of a great lady, Ida Shames. I have had the pleasure of sharing her company and will always love the way she spoke her mind. She was devoted to the Col. as he was to her. My thoughts and prayers to the family and thanks for allowing me to be a part of Ida's world, if only for a short time.

Dear Ed and family, It is with great sadness that I learned last Friday of Ida's passing. I was blessed to have met Ida several times and she was a wonderful lady. I loved seeing her love and devotion for you and the same from you for her. Your marriage sets an example for the rest of us of what a marriage means.
