When Ildika and Dieter came to the USA, we were fortunate to meet them and welcome them to the USA. Ildiko gave me a basket to carry my baby son Richard on the way to Germany in 1957. When we came back to the USA in 1962, we were at the Dunes with the Miesler family, and saw the family at the Pfaff/Pfeiffer picnics in Naperville. I'll miss her infection enthusiasm for the world around her.
The passionate love she had for all her children that will live on, though all of us will miss hearing her sweet voice on the phone.

She was a most amazing mother. With every day I appreciate more and more how incredibly fortunate I was to have this wise, loving woman as my mother.
