When Ildika and Dieter came to the USA, we were fortunate to meet them and welcome them to the USA. Ildiko gave me a basket to carry my baby son Richard on the way to Germany in 1957. When we came back to the USA in 1962, we were at the Dunes with the Miesler family, and saw the family at the Pfaff/Pfeiffer picnics in Naperville.
